Research

As we drive innovation to transform the newcomer experience in our community, we welcome partners from across Canada to apply to conduct research with Immigrant Services Calgary. This can range from accessing our existing data to conducting new research with newcomers we support. Research helps foster improvements to community planning projects, urban development and planning, and improvements to service delivery for immigrants and refugees. We’re excited to support and drive work that connects newcomers with their communities.

Through our work, Immigrant Services Calgary has extensive data and experience in the needs and processes newcomers experience in Alberta. And we know research is a vital part of innovation. Researchers may request data or access to clients to conduct research, planning, policy development, or quality improvement projects.

Due to the volume of requests and the resources required to participate in these projects, Immigrant Services Calgary is not able to accept all requests. However, we accept and support research work in this space whenever and wherever possible.
