Wind Down of Settlement Services To Canada-Ukraine Authorization For Emergency Travel (CUAET) Clients
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced changes in access to settlement services for CUAET holders, Ukrainian nationals with temporary resident status in Canada, and their dependents that will be in effect after March 31, 2025.
CUAET holders, Ukrainian Temporary residents and their dependents in Canada may continue to receive language assessment and referral services until March 31, 2025, regardless of their arrival date.
The language assessments are valid for two years. Therefore, assessed clients may be eligible for non-IRCC-funded programming that requires a language assessment or may become permanent residents (PR) during this period.
