The purpose of the Finance Committee is to provide oversight to ensure the fiscal stability and long-term economic health of Immigrant Services Calgary, and assist the Board in meeting their statutory and fiduciary oversight responsibilities.

Governance & Human Resource (HR) Committee
The purpose of the Governance & Human Resource (HR) Committee is to enhance the Board’s effectiveness in the governance of Immigrant Services Calgary, and ensure the fulfillment of its legal, ethical, and functional responsibilities through the development and maintenance of appropriate governance policies, compliance to bylaws, and the Board members' performance. The committee contributes and shares the organization’s mission and goals by generating a positive, productive, ethical, and safe work environment within which staff and volunteers can deliver their best performance.

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Committee
The purpose of the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Committee is to provide communications, advocacy, and community and stakeholder engagement support and guidance. The committee supports the development and implementation of communications and external engagement strategies and advocacy plans consistent with Immigrant Services Calgary’s strategic direction, objectives, and branding. The Communications committee works to enhance the organization’s reputation by providing advice about how to best position the organization with external stakeholders, and all levels of government.

Fund Development Committee
The purpose of the Fund Development Committee is to support the increase and diversification of Immigrant Services Calgary's various sources of funding through engagement and collaboration with corporations, donors, and foundations. The committee guides the strategic direction and execution of the diversification of funds, developing strategies to cultivate and build relationships and partnerships within the business community, while strengthening stewardship with existing donors to position Immigrant Services Calgary within the philanthropic marketplace.
