Are you a newcomer jobseeker in Canada and want to understand the Canadian employment regulation?

Join us for our Newcomer Dialogue series and meet Kennedy Hughes, a Public Legal Educator from Worker Resources Center. During this presentation, Kennedy will provide an in-depth overview of Employment Standards, which includes all the regulations and obligations for both employees and employers. This session will provide valuable information regarding workplace rights and labor laws, covering important topics such as

• minimum wage laws
• overtime and holiday regulations
• job-protected leaves, vacation policies, work hours, earnings, youth employment laws, and termination procedures.
