Immigrant Services Calgary Announces Finalists for the 2011 Immigrants of Distinction Awards

For Immediate Release (Calgary, AB Wednesday, February 9, 2011) – Immigrant Services Calgary is pleased to announce the finalists and youth scholarship recipients for the 15th annual Immigrants of Distinction Awards. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of immigrants to Calgary in the categories of arts and culture, business, community service, organizational diversity, and distinguished professional. The Immigrants of Distinction Awards also highlight the achievements of immigrant youth through the presentation of youth scholarships, and the prestigious Hadassah Ksienski award is presented on this evening. Recipients will be announced at the annual awards gala to be held on Friday March 18, 2011 at 6 pm at The Westin, Calgary.
