2015 Immigrants of Distinction Awards


Calgary, AB, February 26, 2015 – Immigrant Services Calgary (ISC) is pleased to announce the names of federal, provincial and local dignitaries who will be attending the Immigrants of Distinction Awards gala.


The gala, which will be held on March 6th, 2015 at the Westin Calgary Hotel, celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of immigrants to Calgary in the categories of Business, Arts and Culture, Youth Scholarship, Community Service, Hadassah Ksienski Distinguished Service, Organizational Diversity, Lifetime Achievement, and Achievement Under 40. The event is expected to host over 600 guests including representation from government, the corporate community, and the voluntary sector.

This is the 19th edition of the gala. The theme for the evening is “Inspiring New Stories” which celebrates not only the success of newcomers in their professional and business endeavors, but also in bringing new, innovative and positive impact to Calgary’s community. The event will be carbon neutral and we will have special artist like Justine Tyrell, who will delight us with her new songs.
